#7 United States Submarine Veterans of Bremerton
The USS Bonefish was a GATO class submarine, she was commissioned 31 May 1943. Bonefish made 8 war patrols, she sank 31 enemy vessels for a total tonnage of 158,500lbs. Bonefish was lost with all hands in June of 1945. The replica float is dedicated to all those who have given their in service their country.

The Bainbridge Island Fire has been serving our island community since 1942. #13 Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Rec District
In honor of their 60th anniversary and the Comprehensive Plan Update, the Bainbridge Island Metro Parks & Rec District is walking through the decades. You’ll see them celebrating key moments from each decade, starting back in the 1960s.
In1965 the Park District welcomed its very first park, Rotary Park.
The 1970s brought recreation to life with the opening of Ray Williamson Pool, the first indoor public pool north of Bremerton.
In the 1980s, the District expanded programs, taking on the youth gymnastics program and acquiring Camp Yeomalt.
The 1990s were all about Forests, with the Grand Forest and Gazzam lake coming under the care of the Park District.
In the 2000s, major investments were made in sports fields — renovating and building ball fields at Battle Point, Rotary Park, Sands Avenue.
The 2010s focused on partnerships and conservation — launching Student Conservation Corps, opening Owen’s Playground, and breaking ground on Founders Courts for pickleball.
And in the 2020s, we’ve kept growing, opening Founders Courts, acquiring the Bainbridge Island Recreation Center, and welcoming Pia the Peacekeeper Troll to Sakai Park.
It’s been 60 years of community, parks, and recreation — and we’re excited for what’s ahead!

Roller Hockey: It’s the fastest, funnest sport on the island! Bainbridge Roller Hockey welcomes players ages 7 to 17, girls and boys, from new skaters to expert stick-handlers. #24 Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island
The Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island is beginning to take donations tomorrow at Woodward Middle School for their July 12th 2025 Rotary Auction and Rummage Sale. Money raised from this event is distributed to non-profits mainly in our community but also to international humanitarian projects. This is the largest recycling event of the year and is an inexpensive way of purchasing quality items.

Spartronics 4915 is a high school FRC robotics team located on Bainbridge Island Washington. We began in 2013 as a scrappy startup, and today we are a thriving team with 40 student members, 10 mentors, and one tireless coach! Our 20+ student leaders manage our major subteams, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, marketing, design, strategy, and programming. Throughout the year, we participate in a plethora of community events, from demonstrations with our robot that we present to all three of our elementary schools to summer STEM camps and even marching in our 4th of July parade, which is attended by thousands of visitors. We are builders, coders, designers, marketers, and community leaders. We are Spartronics!

Please Welcome Bainbridge Island Cub Scouts Pack 4496. Pack 4496 has been on Bainbridge Island for over 60 years and has dens for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
They are chartered at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church. Dens are organized by grade level and meet every other week to build skills and experience to help them live to the scout oath and law. This past year the pack had multiple camping events, hikes, cooking, visits with elected officials, volunteered at service projects for Bainbridge Parks and the American Legion, and of course held our annual pinewood derby. Let's hear it for the Cub Scouts!!

She has received five patents for her full mouth dental restorations from the United States Patent Office. Her mission is to make sure all patients who need full mouth dental restorations will be able to get it in a gentle and non-invasive way, along with a song and a story.

Formed in 1987, Bainbridge Island Boys Lacrosse was one of the first teams in the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association. Known as the fastest sport on two feet, it blends the speed and strategy of basketball, the physicality of hockey, and the endurance of soccer. With programs for students K-through-12, Bainbridge Boys Lacrosse is proud of its winning record, but even more proud of the character and integrity of the athletes. The high school team were state champions this year! Coach Jack Visco, Bainbridge Boys Lacrosse Varsity Head Coach and Program Director, has also been named the 2025 Washington State Coach of the Year. Go Bainbridge!

The Bainbridge Island High School Sailing Team had an action-packed fall and spring! The team of 24 sailors consistently placed top three out of more than 60 Northwest teams. They also earned berths to two national championships and four national invitationals!
The Spartan Sailors’ strength comes from a shared passion for sailing, excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, strong mentorship, dedication to year-round skill development, and having fun together! #69 Bainbridge Island Land Trust
The Bainbridge Island Land Trust’s mission is to conserve and steward the diverse natural environments of Bainbridge Island for the benefit of all. Since 1989, the Land Trust has worked to protect and care for over 1,500 acres of land for preserves and parks, and to restore critical habitat for wildlife. Thanks to your support, the Land Trust has recently secured protection for the Winslow Heron Rookery, the 25-acre Manzanita Ridge Preserve, and the 40-acre Grand Forest East!
#70 One Call For All
One Call For All is the home of the Red Envelope campaign, an annual fundraising effort to support nonprofit organizations serving Bainbridge Island. This annual appeal has been an iconic community tradition since 1960, raising millions & millions of dollars of unrestricted operating funds for over 120 partner agencies, at no cost to them or our donors.
Our 2024-25 campaign has now raised over $2.5 million (wow!). We thank you all for this incredible generosity to the nonprofits that serve our community and help make Bainbridge truly extraordinary.

#71 Knights Community Hospital Equipment Lend Program (KC HELP)
KC HELP is a local charitable non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in our community who are dealing with the effects of aging, illnesses, accidents, or other related disabilities by providing no-cost durable medical equipment for as long as it is needed. KC HELP is made up entirely of volunteers who are passionate about helping the people who so desperately need this equipment.
#72 Bainbridge Island Rowing
Bainbridge Island Rowing (BIR) is a nonprofit, no-cut rowing organization committed to building community through competitive and recreational rowing for youth and adults. As one of the largest sports representing Bainbridge High School, BIR promotes teamwork, resilience, and personal growth on and off the water. Look out for our team walking with our boat trailer—complete with racing shells and athletes showcasing their skills on rowing machines!

I grew up on Bainbridge Island when there were just 12,000 residents, and have called it home for over 50 years. I'm running for City Council because I care deeply about this community and the neighbors who make it special. Growth is inevitable, but with thoughtful leadership, we can manage it in a way that protects our natural resources, makes room for new neighbors, and preserves the hometown feel we all value.
I believe in predictable, practical government — one that maintains core infrastructure, supports residents, and spends wisely.
I am running to represent the North Ward, but the ENTIRE ISLAND will be able to vote for me in the General Election.

FPIES (eff-pies) Foundation:
FPIES, or Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome is a rare food allergy that affects the gastrointestinal system with severe complications.
FPIES is most common in children but occurs in all ages, with any food, and has no cure.
The FPIES Foundation raises awareness and provides support for patients, providers, and families dealing with this disease.

#76 Sound Baseball
Sound baseball is a select baseball organization based on Bainbridge Island. It was designed to build character, teamwork, and love for the game. Sound was originally founded by two female coaches. Since then multiple teams have been created offering a family outside the home, supporting each other on and off the field.

HEXOHM is a new innovative Bainbridge-based builder of homes + ADUs. HEXOHM builds natural, low-carbon, homes and ADU from the incredible material, hempcrete. Hempcrete is a two-part mixture of hemp + lime, with hemp being locally grown in Washington State. Hempcrete is carbon-capturing, fire-proof, rodent-proof, rot-proof, and lasts hundreds of years.

#79 Queen City Yacht Club
Queen City Yacht Club was established in 1916 in Seattle.
The Club purchased property in Eagle Harbor in 1968 and built the current clubhouse in 1971 entirely by volunteer member labor. They have been proud participants in the Bainbridge Island July 4 th parade for decades. Queen City Yacht Club has a close relationship with the Bainbridge Island Community and happily provides space on their dock for the police vessels.
Riding in the first vehicle representing Queen City Yacht Club is Commodore Doug Genord and First Lady Gail Genord. They have been members of Queen City since 2012..
Here come the Queen City Kids, riding in a converted boat that has been used for this purpose since the 1990’s. Hundreds of children got their start in boating by riding in this float enjoying the Bainbridge Island traditional 4th of July festivities.
Always remember to wear life jackets whenever you are near the water, on a dock or in a boat. Safety comes first in every situation.
#80 The All Star Drumline
The All Star Drum line has been rockin the streets of the pacific northwest for over 20 years.
This elite youth music program hails from Poulsbo and features some of the top drummers from Kitsap county and beyond. The group is directed by Terry Marsh, who runs the Drummers Den Music studio. The studio is a music education hub for Poulsbo and features private lessons for various instruments and some great summer music programs including the All Star drum line. The drummers will spend the summer marching at various festivals and parades and then wrap up the season by attending the Peach Festival in Penticton, BC.
Coaching staff includes: Forrest Brennan, Josh Alpert, and Cameron Repp.
